MORE ABOUT MELODY...
Hi, my name is Melody Owens, and I am so happy to be part of your child’s Crossway Academy Community. I am a special education teacher with experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities in therapeutic, ABA-informed learning environments. I believe every child deserves instruction that is individualized, consistent, and rooted in understanding who they are as a learner. I work closely with BCBAs, speech and occupational therapists, and classroom teams to create supportive routines, meaningful learning opportunities, and positive behavior supports that help each child grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Building strong partnerships with families is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a classroom environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and celebrated for their progress;
big and small. Collaboration, clear communication, and consistency between home and school are values I hold closely, and I truly look forward to getting to know your family and working
together to support your child’s success.
