Amelia is originally from Athens, Ohio, and has lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, for the past 17 years. She has been married to her husband for 21 years, and together they have three children, ages 10, 13, and 10, whom she considers her greatest accomplishment. In her free time, Amelia enjoys reading, cooking, and working on cross-stitch projects.​
